MY REVIEW:

I was given this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review.

I give this book 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, the story line, which felt like things that happen in real life, the challenges, the heartachs, the love, commitment, and how people really can change.

It also brought a few tears through out the entire book, but I still enjoyed it.
I am so glad that Suzanne contacted me about reviewing this book. There are so so many out there, you cannnot see them all, and I have to say I lucked up with this one.
I am always going through my books on my kindle (over 1,000) to see what I will read next. It is always hard to decide. But when oppertunities like this come along, it's even better. Especially when the book was so good.

So thank you Suzanne for the ARC. I truly enjoyed this realistic, down to earth book, and I cannot wait for the second part. Please don't keep us waiting to long!!!!

Reach Me

REACH ME
by: J.L. Mac

SYNOPSIS:

It’s a well-known fact that single parenting doesn’t allow for much dating. Over the past nine years, Lindsay Fuller’s heart has been monopolized by her son, Trey, and she’s perfectly content with that.
But with her 30th birthday looming like a black cloud, Lindsay worries that her chances at a happily ever after are next to nil.
After all, she’s no sorority girl. She’s no supermodel, either. She’s a Plain Jane single mom with a less than desirable career, a pen pal obsession, and an extremely overbearing younger brother.
Financial trouble sends Lindsay’s already hectic life into a tailspin, setting events in motion that will change everything, namely her “single” status. Learning to reach for what she wants catalyzes an epic internal struggle that she has no hopes of overcoming.
The question is, will Lindsay give love a shot; and, more importantly, will it be worth it?

AUTHOR:

USA Today Best Selling Author, J.L. Mac, is twenty-something years old and currently resides in El Paso, Texas, with her husband and children. She is a native Texan having been born and raised in Galveston, Texas. J.L. admittedly has had a long and sordid love affair with the written word and has loved every minute of it. She drinks too many glasses of wine on occasion, and says way too many swear words to be considered “lady-like.” J.L. spends her free time reading, writing, playing with her children and living her happily even after with her very own Prince Charming who she affectionately calls Tight Buns McHotness.

MY REVIEW:

I received Reach Me as an ARC from the wonderful J.L.Mac, in exchange for an honest review.

I give Reach Me 5+ stars. It was a great read.

I think I have read about everything J.L.Mac has written, because I just can't get enough of her wonderful words.

I really enjoyed this book. The story line was perfect, the characters were great, the steamy parts were awesome.

I read this in one day because it was that great, just couldn't put it down.

The reality of struggle, determination, friends, love, and a hopeful future is all real in this book.

I think I fell in love with Russ. He was a mouth watering, tongue tying, claiming your soul, kinda guy. And besides that he pretty much had it all. For a man like him to wait for someone that long, and only commute through texts, has got to be one hell of a guy.

I'm not saying anything else about this book because I am not giving anything away. You just need to read it. It is just AAHhhhhhhhhh.

One of those books that just stays with you!!!

It's awesome!!!!!

In the end J.L.Mac about ripped mt heart out, stomped on it, and left it hanging for the voltures to devour. LOL
Doesn't mean I would ever stop stalking her for another book, she's a great author!!

Thanks J.L. Mac for your trust. And don't ever give up writing!!!

Make sure TBM keeps bringing you to them cabins, are any retreat, to keep these books coming :)

MY REVIEW:

I GIVE THIS BOOK A 5 STAR REVIEW!!!

I received this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book. I had no doubt, coming from Carey Heywood. So far, every book that I have read of hers, was great, and a 5 star.

I was so excited to learn about this book, I started it right away. And finished it quick. It was to hard to put down.

I felt like I was in the book with these characters, I was so connected to them. I loved them all. I hated Mike at first, and still despises what he did. But I am also thankful, because had he not, this book what not have been so damn good. So in the end I actually felt sorry for him. Kinda like, his loss, idiot. lol

I fell in love with Clay immediately. He was fricken amazing. Not sure there is anything I would want to change about him. He's perfect; HOT, brains, cocky yet romantic, charming, sincere, big heart, great size wood, HAHA, and knows how to treat a woman. Taking care of a child not yours, and doing what he done, at his young age, you will hardly ever see in a lifetime. That right there means he was a keeper. In the end what him and Maggie did as the surprise for her, was out of this world, 100% swoon worthy. At least it would have been for me, lol. He always takes into consideration her feelings, and what she wants, and is ALWAYS showing her compassion. I mean, where the hell will you find someone like him. Because although I have a great husband, some things I could get used to if he did them, lol. My husband doesn't care to see me reading all the time, but I don't give a damn. Like I told him, it's better than me not home, are in a bar somewhere. SO suck the shit up!!!
Anyway... lol

Courtney was a lovely, honest, hard working, giving, independent young lady. I think I feel in love with her as well, haha
She was just perfect. And there is nothing I can say bad about her either.

The story was great, HOT, couldn't finish the book fast enough. I didn't want it to ever end.

It's a start of a series. But I really would love to hear more about Clay and Courtney, like the future, and what is ahead. Because I know it will be great.

Thank you Carey for your trust in giving me the ARC!!!! I am forever grateful.
You have a life long fan here :)
